Amy Becke, NEDP Director
Amy is a freelance dance artist based in the North East of England, working as a performer, teacher and choreographer. In September 2023, she founded North East Dance Project with the aim of creating a supportive community for dancers of all ages and experience levels. Amy is passionate about working with community dancers and supporting performance opportunities for adult dancers in the North East of England and nationally.
Alyssa Lisle, NEDP Rehearsal Director/Choreographer

Alyssa is a movement artist, performer, and facilitator based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Passionate about her roots, Alyssa is committed to fostering talent and building connections within the North East dance community. Her artistic practice deeply values joy, commitment and community. Over the past 10 years, she has worked with companies such as Rendez-Vous Dance, Southpaw Dance Company, Level Centre, and Fertile Ground, contributing to a rich portfolio spanning performance, direction, and facilitation.
Alyssa is passionate about community dance and is committed to curating opportunities for people to engage with movement in safe and supported environments. Within her facilitation practice, she teaches regularly across the region in a variety of settings, teaches professional class at DANE (Dance Artists North East) and Dance City. Alyssa is also the North East Dance Ambassador for Matthew Bourne's New Adventures.
