Job Description: North East Dance Project is seeking a supportive, engaging, and experienced adult Ballet Teacher to deliver a series of dance sessions on Saturdays between September and December 2026. The role includes 12 sessions in total, with the possibility of continued work from January to March 2027 and beyond. Sessions are paid at a rate of £100 per 2 hour 15-minute session, all inclusive.

The successful candidate will support participants through inclusive and inspiring dance practice while contributing to the ongoing development of the project. Sessions will work towards a performance taking place on either 5th or 6th December 2026. The teacher’s role will involve teaching pre-existing Ballet and Neo-Classical choreography to dancers in a positive and encouraging environment.
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and passionate about supporting confidence, and performance development. North East Dance Project aims to provide high-quality dance opportunities for community dancers, creating accessible, creative, and performance-led experiences.
